Um, Take Three?

Third time's the charm, right? Well, the Holidays are over and I have to say I wish they could have lasted a little while longer. I didn't have a chance to "create" much but oh, wow, did I get to relax, at home, with my family. We hadn't been able to do that in a long time. We caught up with friends and family and enjoyed every second of our Holiday vacation. But since all good things must come to an end, it is back to school, back to work, back to a normal routine.

I haven't been "wrecking" much lately but I have a few pages that I did last month and didn't take the time to post. So today, I offer you the "Create a non-stop line" page. I had a lot of fun doing it! I thought a lot about how I would go about it and I debated weather I should just scribble and then color in or do something "recognizable".

I really like how it turned out. Doing this, I realized how much I missed drawing. I used to draw and paint all the time but now there is just not much time for that. I'll try to find more time to do those things, they're good for my brain.

A Good Place to Start

Having recently decided to get myself a Wreck This Journal, I thought it might also be fun to start this blog to chronicle the process. I won't limit myself to the journal though, I'll also post about other creative endeavors, if there are any!

I'll also try not to be a perfectionist about this, as one of the reasons I got the journal was to rid myself of some of my perfectionist tendencies. I'll try to go back to the creative self I once knew and have fun, not over thinking things. So there you have it, blog number 2, just for fun. Join me, won't you?
